Before Installation Day

Our office will call to confirm your scheduled installation date and time frame.
Please remove any furniture, blinds, drapes, or wall décor that may interfere with the installation process.
You’ll receive access to your Buildertrend project dashboard, where you can view real-time updates, daily photos, timelines, change orders, and important files all in one place.

Installation Day Process

Our installers will arrive on time and introduce themselves.
The Lead Carpenter will provide an overview of the day’s work and answer any questions.
Our team will stage any materials necessary for the job and designate work areas
Protective measures will be taken, including laying drop cloths and covering nearby furniture.
Installers will systematically replace windows and doors, ensuring proper fit and function.
Exterior sealing will be completed once each room’s installation is finished.
We will clean up all debris, remove old windows/doors, and vacuum all work areas.

Final Inspection & Payment

The lead installer will walk you through the completed installation, ensuring quality and proper operation.
Final payment is due upon completion of the installation.

Interior & Exterior Renovations: What to Expect

Interior and exterior renovations are a significant investment—and we treat them that way. At Matera Builders, we take every measure to protect your home, keep you informed, and deliver exceptional results with minimal disruption. Here’s what you can expect when working with our team:

Before the Project Begins

Our office will confirm your scheduled start date and provide a general project timeline.
You’ll receive access to your Buildertrend project dashboard, where you can view real-time updates, daily photos, timelines, change orders, and important files all in one place.
For interior renovations, we’ll ask that you remove personal items from work areas.
For exterior projects, we may request shrubbery or trees be trimmed back to allow safe access.

During the Project

Your lead carpenter will walk you through the scope of work and keep you updated as the project progresses.
We take protection seriously. Our team will prep the site with Ramboard, drop cloths, plastic walls, and other materials to safeguard your home from dust, debris, and damage.
For exterior work, materials will be staged neatly and safely on-site.
Our crews will maintain a clean, organized job site throughout the project.
Renovations may span several weeks or months depending on scope, and you’ll receive updates along the way.

Project Wrap-Up & Final Walkthrough

Once work is complete, you’ll walk the space with your project manager to review every detail.
We’ll remove all debris and leave the site clean and ready to enjoy.
Final payment is due after completion and walkthrough.
